THE IMF
EMCEE
San Francisco, California
Enrico Granados aka The I.M.F. (The iLL Mxtha Fxcka) was born in San Francisco raised in Pacifica and currently lives in San Francisco. A California native with an East Coast sound, growing up in the boom-bap era his style is highly influenced by pioneer MCs like Wu-Tang Clan, Black Moon, the Alkoholiks, and A Tribe Called Quest.
Over time, the I.M.F. has molded his style, and formed his own lane in the Bay Area hip-hop game. Fans of Action Bronson, Roc Marciano, and the late Sean Price, will definitely enjoy the I.M.F.’s similar skills on the mic and energetic performances.
Joining forces with Producer Lmt. Break in 2018, they hit the music scene with a hip-hop gem called “Grime Status”. A full force hardcore hip-hop album with a slew of DJ’s and guest appearances, The I.M.F. drops witty and strong lyricism, reminding everyone he is not to be taken lightly.
”Grime Status” is a melting pot of all hip-hop elements, showing the world that the Bay Area is full of diversity and talent. Currently working on projects with The Get Down Record label-mates MROK, as well as Thor and again with Lmt. Break, the future sounds of the I.M.F. are sure to expand and blow minds.

DJ MROK
producer / DJ
Chicago, Illinois
DJ MROK is a Chicago-area hip hop producer and scratch DJ with a passion for classic hip hop. As an east coast transplant who grew up in hip hop’s golden era, MROK was heavily influenced by the Philadelphia hip hop, DJs and graffiti he was exposed to first-hand in the mid ‘80s to early ‘90s. After moving to the Boston area, he began producing beats and scratching with local artists, and went on to create Boston University’s first-ever hip hop radio show in 1991. MROK’s music career switched gears when he took a 20-year hiatus to play drums with various bands across Chicagoland. Back on the scene after two decades, MROK picked up where he left off and is bringing the noise with big breaks, funky scratches and dusty loops — evoking sounds from the era he left behind while flipping it for 2020 and beyond.

CHEF MIKE
PRODUCER
DETROIT, MICHIGAN
Chef Mike is a Detroit-area producer with more than 20 years of beat making and production under his belt. Mike caught the music bug early while working in record stores — an experience that instilled a life-long passion for music and an appreciation for vinyl and crate digging that live on today. During his college years, Mike’s major in film studies helped cultivate his cinematic take on beat making, and further contributed to his soundtrack-minded approach to hip hop. Although Mike is a one-man force to be reckoned with behind the pads and boards, his community-focused approach to music led him to form Common and Normal — a collective of like-minded producers that create art that’s anything but. Mike’s work with Common and Normal has led him to projects and partnerships with Icy Palms Records and The Get Down Records, reinforcing the fact that no matter what Chef Mike is cooking, it’s always hot.
